⁵ They called out to Lot and asked, “Where are the men who came to visit^[a] you tonight? Bring them out to us so we can have sex with^[b] them!”

⁶ Lot went outside to them, shut the door behind him, ⁷ and said, “I urge you, my brothers, don’t do such a wicked thing.
